ECHA has published an updated map of PFAS uses in preparation for the public consultation on the proposed restriction of these substances.
Description:
As part of the proposed restriction of PFAS, a map of the uses of these substances has been published for public consultation on the draft SEAC opinion.
This map provides a detailed table listing the sectors that use PFAS, including eight additional sectors (military, explosives, printing, etc.) from Annex XV that have not been assessed by SEAC.
This table has been recently updated and will be adjusted before the 60-day public consultation, scheduled after the adoption of the SEAC draft opinion in March 2026.
