A4 is offering an open webinar on June 28 with the goal of presenting the variety of resources, tools, and techniques available to research and find alternative options. These resources may differ from those typically presented in European contexts.

Bisphenol A, nonylphenol and PFAS are included in the directive on the quality of water intended for human consumption
By 12 January 2026, Member States shall take the measures necessary to ensure that water intended for human consumption complies with the established thresholds for bisphenol A and PFAS. Nonylphenol is included in the watch list of the directive.

Textile articles : entry into force of a restriction on nonylphenol ethoxylates
Since February 3, 2021, textile articles containing nonylphenol ethoxylates in concentrations equal to or greater than 0.01% may not be placed on the European market.
Alternative Assessment and Substitution of Dangerous Substances at Workplaces
